Comic Book Collector's Sheet
You collect a LOT of comic book titles. How do you keep track of them all?
Picture yourself at a comic book shop, convention, flea market or garage sale. You spot an issue of a comic book title that you collect and you wonder, "Do I already have that or not?"
So, you buy it, just to be sure, and you go home only to find that you do indeed already own it...and now you've got to get rid of something you don't need or want.
That use to happen to me too, until I came up with a simple way on paper to keep track of every comic book I owned. It's a special two-sided page that I can make copies of and keep in a three ring binder. One copy for each title I collect.
Every time I buy a new issue of a particular title, I mark it off on it's collector's sheet in my book. Each sheet can keep track of 900 issues, 40 annuals and a few misc. items like pins, buttons or posters.
When I go to where the comic books are, I take my inventory book with me and check those bargains to be sure I really need them.
Problem solved!
Now, you can use my system too, by purchasing access to my Comic Book Collector's Sheet Download and using it to create your very own comic book collection inventory book.
It's as simple as 1-2-3. Once you receive your username and password from PayPal you can access the download area:
Print out two web pages, one for the front of the sheet and one for the back, and have them photo-copied onto the front and back of a double-sided copy.
Punch holes into them and put them into a 3-ring binder.
Write the name and publisher of the title you collect and then mark an "X" over any issue that you own.
You could certainly figure out some way to do this same thing yourself, but why bother? I've already done all the work for you so go ahead and pay my small fee to get access right now.
